Power pack EN 9 U-control
The EN 9 U-control power supply unit is used exclusively to supply voltage to needle ionizers and discharge mandrels. Needle ionizers and discharge mandrels are used for electrostatic discharge of the interior of filling vessels. This discharge positively supports subsequent cleaning by blowing out with compressed air. Filling takes place without the sticking and deposits on the vessel walls that often occur with filigree contents.

Principle of operation
The mains voltage applied to the EN 9 U-control is transformed by a high-voltage transformer to the optimum AC voltage of 4-6 kVAC for needle ionizers and discharge mandrels. The power supply unit has a monitor output. This allows continuous process monitoring to be implemented, as required in the pharmaceutical industry, for example.The EN 9 U-control power supply unit can be clocked. The integrated overload monitoring protects the device by switching it off in the event of a fault.

The EN 9 U-control is ideal for operating needle ionisers and unloading mandrels and is used in the packaging and filling areas of pharmaceutical/medical technology as well as in food and cosmetics production.
